Planning History • Facilitated regional water supply planning began in 2001 • Contract project managers and attorneys perform facilitation support • Continues today, with active efforts in multiple counties • Current District Water Supply Plan was published January 2006 • Updated as needed to accommodate new WPSP-eligible projects

SJR/TCR WSP History • Project identified while preparing an interim update to the DWSP 2000 • Project facilitation began 12/03 • Fourteen utilities expressed interest • Six signed the agreement to do preliminary design and environmental work

Project Details—Key Points • 40 to 50 mgd of AWS from the St. Johns River and Taylor Creek Reservoir • Will likely serve utilities in both SJRWMD and SFWMD • First of several AWS projects for East Central Florida water supply
