  2. Facts • At the age of twelve he started to take art classes. • One of his first paintings was this one. • His mom drowned when he was little. People think it was a suicide.

  3. Times transfixed • Times trans fixed was one of his greatest paintings that Magritte has ever done. • One statement that he said was “I decided to paint a picture of a locomotive.”

  4. Imagination • Rene Magritte would solely paint on what he pictured in his mind and seen. • This was a very odd picture he took a very long time to paint but the final result shocked a lot of people when it was revealed.

  5. Real Surrealism art • Rene Magritte was an odd artist but people still fancy his art work. • Why he puts bags over his people in his drawings. We may never know.
