Howe Howe decided to attack Philadelphia by sea and capture the American capital, to win the war quickly.
Philadelphia • Philadelphia was quickly and easily captured.
Washington Washington moved his army to Pennsylvania and fought a few battles before setting up winter quarters at Valley Forge.
