2. Accessing MCConnect Welcome to MCConnectour online church community powered by CCB! We have provided this tool to help you get better connect with our church. You will be able to find groups to get involved in, see events that you might want to attend, participate in discussions, meet the needs of others in our church community and find volunteer positions based on your passions and gifts. After requesting a login or being assigned one, you will receive an e-mail containing your login information (as well as a temporary password). Use the links in the e-mail to access MCConnect! **Tip** You may quickly access MCConnect from The Mission Church hompageor bookmark the page.
3. Logging In Once at the login page, enter your username and assigned password. You can also download MCConnect to your smartphone/iPhone and have member phone numbers and addresses at your disposal!
4. Your Personal Home Page Once you log into MCCONNECT community you will land on your personal home page. This page contains information specific to you including: A list of upcoming church-wide events or events hosted by groups you belong to Activity in groups you belong to Your profile picture (once you upload) Access to your personal profile allowing you to edit information A list of your groups Your personal, interactive calendar
5. Viewing & Editing Your Profile Click Go to My Profile from the home page to view information in your profile. View information on the Activity, Family, Info, Involvement ,or Serving Abilities tabs. If enabled, you will also see the Financial tab. Info tab is where the majority of information about you will be located. Review the information to determine if anything needs to be added or edited. Your contact information will be located here. Use the Profile Settings area to edit your profile, adjust your availability to serve, set your communication preferences, change your username/password and update your privacy settings (listed/unlisted; if listed, limits the information others can view)
6. Your Profile Settings Remember, YOU have control over your personal information and what can be seen by others. Defaults are set at the Administrative level and have all new users as “listed,” defaults do initially restrict the information that can be seen by other users. Edit Profile Tabs: Basic – Name fields, upload/delete personal photo, general information, and contact information. Address – Numerous address fields including home, work, etc. Serving – Spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personal style, etc. Social – Link to a vast array of social media networks including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and many, many more! Custom Fields – Viewable only by Administration Plugged In – Let people know which service(s) you attend and other information regarding your faith journey.
7. Updating Your Profile Custom defaults are set at the Administrative level, however, individual users can choose “listed” or “unlisted” . If “listed” is chosen, users may limit information able to be seen by others. Edit Profile Tabs: Basic – Name fields, upload/delete personal photo, general information, and contact information.
