Concentration Details – EE and CS • Device Instrumentation: • Optimizing Imaging Device Physics (to limits) • Designing electrical hardware (i.e. for increased equipment capacity and capabilities) • Building new machines to serve arising imaging purpose/need* • Algorithms and Image Processing (Software): • Coming up with novel algorithms to improve instruments’ imaging speed quality** • Coming up with novel algorithms for improved image reconstruction** • Developing software for image post-processing for improved images**
