Project Goals • Implement SAP Plant Maintenance system • Provide integration with Finance, HR, and Materials • Allow enhanced scheduling and planning for work assignments • Provide work scheduling as well as management reporting tools • Accommodate the use of mobile technology to reduce paperwork • Accommodate the use of GIS with SAP • Improve automated updates to customers about the status of work • Implement a Preventive Maintenance system for buildings, areas, and equipment • Utilize standard SAP functionality to collect utility usage and cost information for recharge calculations

Notifications • Notifications may be created: • Via a web form for the community to report a problem or request work • Through a phone call to the control desk • By a maintenance user to record a log entry or technical observation
Notifications The notification is in the “Favorites”
Notifications On this screen, only the Notification Type must be selected
Notifications On this screen, a description, functional location, priority, and “Reported By” should be entered
Some SAP Terminology Functional Location: A building, floor, or room (Examples: LX-0026 – Student Center LX-0026-02 Student Center 2nd floor LX-0026-02-230 Student Center Room 230) Work Center: A work group or individual (Examples: Electric, Plumb)
