Production Quadrupoles • 2nd rotating coil bench alignment scheduled for July 22 – 24 • Some issues to be resolved in the design of the bench to ensure we have the best accuracy from the magnet centre to the fiducials • Delivery of 12 - 20 magnets per week from August QD Rotating coil bench magnet location QF

Production Cavities Machining • Machining - complete • EB welding - complete • Brazing – in progress • Re measure Frequency & Q • Dimensional checks • Chemical etching • Clean • Assemble and pump down • Measure F & Q • Leak Check • Bakeout • RGA & vacuum measurement • Delivery of batches from Sep 5 E B welding

  4. Procurement Exercise Update • Contract placed on Scaditronix on 29 May for the injection line magnets.13 quads and 4 dipoles. Steel ordered. Preliminary design review held on 2 July a final design review due next week. Delivery - end of October • Injection line vacuum chambers, including the bpm and OTR assemblies. Tender return July 25. Delivery – Mid September – end of October • Girder design in progressaiming at staged deliveries – mid October - November • Contract placed on VG Scienta on 19 June for the ring standard vacuum chambers. Delivery towards end of October - early November • Contract placed on Testbourne for the BPM pickups for the injection line and ring that will weld into the vacuum chambers – delivery end of September • OJEC advert placed on 20 June for the kickers, kicker power supplies and septums, 52 day process bids by mid August, delivery by April 09 • OJEC tender bids for RF system still under evaluation. Delivery required for end of February 09
