  2. Frogs Habitat • The frogs habitat is in or near ponds • This is because frogs spawn in water

  3. Frogs Eggs • Frogs lay their eggs in water • Frogs eggs are laid in clumps

  4. Tadpoles • The eggs hatches into tiny tadpoles

  5. Tadpoles Development • The tadpoles grow larger and breathe through external gills on the side of their head as the picture shown below

Tadpoles Development Part 2 • As the tadpoles grows , it loses these external gills and develops internal gills • The tadpoles back legs • Tadpoles then grow front legs • The tadpoles grow further and develops lungs • It tail begins to disappear • It is know a frog in its ready to leave the pond

  7. What Tadpoles Eat • Tadpoles eat the algae in the pond and other vegetable matter . • They are also carnivorous and will eat frogs and toads eggs and even each other
