    6. The Commandant’s message is clear, behavior inconsistent with our Core Values will not be tolerated. In his Equal Opportunity Statement, he also states that Leaders will Instill the stamina and toughness in each individual Marine while creating an environment that values honor, integrity and caring for fellow Marines. Further guidance is available in White Letter 06-03 published in Dec 03 entitled Changing Attitudes Towards Sexual Harassment in the Marine Corps. The 2002 Sexual Harassment Survey reveals that the the incidents of sexual harassment as well as sexist behavior HAVE DECLINED. I would like to emphasize the Commandant also sates, while we seem to be doing better there is still room for improvement.
