  1. Conference CNZ 2012 „New perception of electronic documents“ In October conference CNZ 2012 took place in the National archive in PRAGUE. This was the seventh year of the conference organized by CNZ Theme of the conference was long term preservation of electronic documents CNZ - Czech Digital Preservation Society What's left behind us

Conference CNZ 2012 • TOPICS: • New standards for digital preservation in Europe • First experiences with building of Trustworthy Digital Repositories in Czech republic • National Digital Archive • „Digital Continuity“ – priority of eGovernment • - Reactions of public organizations to new digital preservation legislations

Conference CNZ 2012 • KEYNOTE: „New European activities for audit and certification of digital repositories“.APA Director David Garrieta • Over 200 participants • Partners: Czech Post, IBM, ADOBE, Microsoft, local companies • Even members of the government and ministries also attended the conference

Conference CNZ 2012 • questionnaire survey was focused on long term preservation topics: • 62 % of respondents are directly interested, • 37% of respondents have partial interest in solving problems with this issue. • The question concerning interest in direct usage of external certified repositories: • 29% respondents have immediate interest, • 42% have partial interest in it. This was a surprise even for organizers of the conference.
