1. Iroquois The Native Americans ate corn, squash, seeds, nuts, chicken and a lot of other foods, too. Sometimes they hunted for their own food and they cooked it. They would skin off the meat and then they would eat it. The fathers would hunt and then the mothers would cook, clean, and take care of the home. Roxana and Katy

5. Pueblo Tribe Did you know that the Pueblo tribes built their houses out of clay ?They make the clay out of mud and water and their houses are shaped like boxes. Nahid and Marnovan

7. Sioux tribe We drew a tepee because we wanted to show how the Sioux Indians lived. The teepees were made out of buffalo skin and or deer skin. As you can see there is smoke coming out of the top of the teepee because the Sioux women cook inside of the them. By: Jamie and Emily

8. The Sioux The Sioux used a lot of weapons to protect their tribe. They rode on horses with spears, bows and arrows and double axes. Sometimes they made weapons out of animals bones. 9. Cherokee Tribe The Cherokee tribe live in houses made of wood covered with mud and grass inside and out. The roof was made of tree bark. The Cherokee tribe also used many tools to hunt animals. By: Leo and Ken

11. The Sioux Tribe The Sioux are hunting the buffalo. They are riding horses so they could kill the buffalo more faster. Some villagers are helping hunt the buffalo. Jose and Juan

12. Sioux The Sioux Indians lived in tepees so that whenever they wanted to move they would just fold their tepee. This made it easy to migrate from place to place. They also carry their tepees so that they do not have to build another tepee. Montel and Jose O.

13. Pueblo Tribe The Pueblos use blankets as wraps around their bodies. The ladies wear colorful dresses. The dresses wrap around their bodies and tie around their shoulders. Corn is very special to the Pueblo. They eat deer, wheat, beans, corn, squash and peppers. Sarah and Maryrose

17. CHEROKEE SOUTHEAST WOODLANDS CHEROKEE INDIANS LIVED IN CHICKEE HOUSES. The Seminole Trible in Florida built Chickee’s. The frame was made of logs and the roof was covered of Palmetto leaves and grasses. It is called a thatch roof. There were no walls in chickees because they weren’t needed in warm southern areas and breezes could blow through. Taliah and Victor

18. Cherokee The Cherokee lived in houses called chickees. The roof is made out of leaves and grass .The things that they use more is wood and grass. Native Americans used this house for shade and to cook food. Emanuel
