  2. Strategic Priorities • Growth in players and programs • Clear pathways for all club members • A highly engaged membership base • Excellence in governance, administration and financial management

Growth in Players and Programs Status/Progress • Full service club with 1600+ summer players and 650+ winter players (largest youth club in NS) • After-school program in 2nd year • U4 program now offered • Buddy Day in 2nd year • Increased number of camps offered: community-based; youth; Academy; fund-raisers; PD day • Initiated program to put appropriate goals on all of our mini fields (5 v. 5) Next Actions • Pursue in-school presence • Pursue various program advertisement initiatives • Increase soccer camp opportunities • Look at ways to increase our senior division membership • Solidify life long soccer (U4 to Masters)

Clear Pathways for all Club Members Status/Progress • Concise program descriptions for the upcoming season, available at the program(s) closing (includes expected commitment, program location(s), costs etc..) • Updated technical staff job descriptions and expected outcomes Next Actions • Consider options for communications and volunteer coordinator roles • Enhance coach engagement and training • Prepare pathway descriptions for staff, volunteers, players, teams, and other members

A Highly Engaged Membership Base Status/Progress • Continued work to improve website and email communications • Set up communications lead role for Mini Foundation Program • Continue to grow Buddy Day/Shooting and Finishing Day program (introducing our older youth players to coaching, by mentoring younger mini-aged players) Next Actions • Develop communications plan, including options for communications coordinator role(s) • Consider options for volunteer coordinator role(s)

Excellence in Governance, Administration and Financial Management Status/Progress • Modified Board operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including establishment of Executive-Finance Committee and Area Committee, and development of a more focused Board agenda • Undertook comprehensive review of financial management procedures and implemented changes • Initiated work process improvement for key club functions Next Actions • Complete update to Board structure and operations • Complete work process improvement • Complete season start up plans • Consider best options for club administrator function
