TASK 4.1 • Local Energy front offices consulting activities • Two front offices are opened in the following municipalities: • Buje/Buie: 2 operators / Open Monday and Friday 9:00 – 15:00 • Vodnjan/Dignano: 2 operators / Open Monday to Friday from 9:00 – 17:00
One regional front office is opened in Buje/Buie • The main aim of the regional front office is to coordinate the local front office, provide them the tools and instruments necessary for their activities, and organize the dissemination activities in collaboration with the operators of the local office • To help the involved municipalities with the SEAP drafting

14 Experimentalcourses Objectives: consulting workshops aiming at sharing and rising awareness on energy issues and trainings for local and overlocal stakeholders, municipalities staff and mayors for SEAP baseline data collection and actions concretely involving them in SEAPs reduction and future implementation activities Topics for citizens and energy stakeholders: • Why should we worry about climate changes? • Multi-buyer groups of Solar Systems to spread the domestic use: Saving possibility for the Citizens, foster the Environment Protection, Economy Growth; • Environment, Territory, Society: benefits from Green Roof; • Solar Energy in the Istrian Region; • Systematic Energy Management with an emphasis on “Sustainable Energy Action Plans” (SEAP) • Energy Efficiency and Social Responsibility for a Sustainable Development of the Market;
14 Experimentalcourses • Topics for citizens and energy stakeholders: • European Funds for Sustainable Energy Projects and Competitiveness and Innovation Program (CIP) • Renewable Energy Sources / influences of new technologies on the electric energy • Topics with municipalities staff and mayors : description and specification of data collection tables tasks division defining the municipalities’ baselines and the actions to be undertaken for SEAPs, the following topics were identified Organization: events will be coordinated by regional front office. Representatives from municipalities and citizens will attend the events. Before each meeting, information material will be delivered to participants so as to prepare them properly on discussion topics and SEAPs objectives concerning them. During these meeting will be available also information about local energy offices and their activities.

O4.4 – 1 - Domesticecologylaboratory • Target: citizens • Objectives: to present and show a comprehensive and updated framework of energy and economic advantages of high efficiency technologies, equipments and appliances as well as of renewable energies plants • Organization: event will be coordinated and lead by more energy experts, citizens will have an active role through free discussion and debate. Representatives from front offices and municipalities will attend the events.
O4.4 – 1 - Domesticecologylaboratory • Tackled topics: key topics concerning energy efficiency at home, wastewater treatment (biological treatment plant sanitary wastewater consumables, oil separators, pumping stations and tanks for above ground and underground installation of all rotating cast polyethylene);environmental illumination (system transfer natural sunlight in insufficiently lit areas of facilities); natural wall heating radiator without bodies or elements (wall, floor and ceiling heating and cooling) solar thermal and photovoltaic, final electric uses, energy saving education, electric cars; properly selected according to front offices recommendations based on consulting feedbacks.
