2. WELCOME Camp Zone 2012“Oh the Places You Will Go” Camp Zone® offers fun-filled summer programs for children ages 5-12. Each week, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors. A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. Camp Zone® counselors and specialists are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Camp Zone® gives you choices. Camp Zone® includes five days of activities, from 8:00am to 5:00 pm. You can choose to add extended hours and specialty camps to your menu of summer fun. We offer a range of outdoor activities, plus indoor activities conducted in our fully air conditioned facility. 3. THEMES Camp Zone 2012“Oh the Places You Will Go” This summer our campers will take a trip to many different places. There is no limit to where they can go at Chesterbrook Academy Summer Camp 2012. No need to pack a bag, your imagination is all you need to explore 10 fun-filled destinations! This summer will be filled with learning, friendships and FUN! Carnival Games- This week campers will be hands on creating and playing carnival games. They will explore many different aspects of a carnival. We will have a visit from Chocolate Bar in a Car. Let’s Get Crafty - This week campers will create their own works of art in a variety of fashions, including painting, pottery, and photography. We will have a visit from Dish it Out. WEEK 6 WEEK 1 WEEK 2 Mail me a Letter Please- This week campers will spend a day in the life of a postman. They will write, deliver, and receive letters . We will have a visit from the post office this week. To the Circus we Go – This week campers will explore circus animals, clowns, and fames. They will explore face painting, parades and sill snacks. We will have a visit from Fish the magish. WEEK 7 A Zoorifiic Week – This week campers will interact with live animals and learn how to care for all types of animals- domestic and exotic. This week we will have a visit from Zootastic! My Community and Me – This week campers will step into the shoes of some of our community’s bravest civil servants. This week we will have a visit from the fire truck, police officers, and postal worker. WEEK 3 WEEK 8 Mad Science - This week with mad science at it’s best, campers will discover the mysteries of many scientific domains, such as space exploration, meteorology, and paleontology. Music Around the World - This week campers will learn all about different musical instruments around the world. They will also get a chance to make their own instruments. WEEK 9 WEEK 4 Let’s Go Green - This week campers of all ages will learn all about how to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We will have a visit from the recycling center and make a special recycling collage. It’s a Magical World – This week campers will actively participate in the dramatic arts with special visits from a storyteller and a magician.
