  3. Genocide • The president of Rwanda was a Hutu and he was in a plane that was shot down and the Hutu extremist did not like the Tutsi people and used the excuse of the plane to start this genocide.

  4. When did the Genocide happen? The genocide took place in 1994

  5. Participants April 6, 1994 “Hutans began slaughtering the Tutsis in the African country of Rwanda.” people just watched it all happened. It lasted 100 days and left about 800,00 Tutsis and Hutu people dead.

  6. How many killed? About 800,000 were killed in the Rwandan Genocide.

  7. What was used to kill? The main thing that was used to kill was machete. Other things that were used was guns, cooked alive in vats of oil, burned alive, and skinned alive.

  8. How does it fit Genocide • The Hutu people killed over 800,00 Tutsi people in three months.

  9. Reactions and who tired to stop it • The people couldn’t really do any thing to stop it but an action that tool place because of this was Rwanda made Anti-Genocide law to help prevent this from happening again.
