  4. 2.5 Introducing Pygmalion • Read Ovid’s Pygmalion myth. • Identify the characters of the archetype. • Draft a summary of the myth in your composition book.

  5. 2.5 Introducing Pygmalion • Summarize the story of Pinocchio. • How is Pinocchio similar to Pygmalion?

  6. 2.5 Introducing Pygmalion Create a graphic organizer that illustrates how Pinocchio fits or departs from the Pygmalion myth. Be sure to include the ending. As we read Act I and the entire play, consider how the characters fit into the Pygmalion archetype.
