Introduction The purpose of the assignment: This assignment familiarizes nursing students with three data bases and current nursing data for the state of Michigan. Students then share data with others in several formats as a way to practice collaboration. Data description: About 40% of active RNs in the Michigan 2013 renewal cohort are age 55 and up. This compares with 34% in 2012. Where is the data from? The data was obtained from the Michigan Center for Nursing. Level of Measure What is the level of measure? This data is at the nominal level of measure. Definition of the level of measure: In the nominal level of measure items are put in mutually exclusive and exhaustive categories.
