Challenges we manage • 230,000 residents • A daily population of over 1 million with commuters and tourists • 24 hour City: over 2,300 bars, pubs and restaurants • Borough contains some of the most deprived areas in UK • Over 150 languages spoken in our schools • Diversity: 30% of our population are from a black or ethnic minority background
