  4. Levels of Certification ISTQB certification comes in three different levels. They are: • Foundation Level • Advanced Level • Expert Level. The first level is entry-level for the beginners and the third level if the expert level for experienced and senior Software Testers.

  5. ISTQB Foundation Level Certification • As a new comer to the software testing domain, IT aspirants can start with the Foundation level certification exam to become an ISTQB® Certified Tester. • After clearing this level only they can proceed further for next higher level of certifications.

Pre-requisites of ISTQB Foundation Level Certification Exam • ISTQB frees candidates from strict and bounded pre-requisites if they are applying for the foundation level certification exam. • However, it do recommends to gain an experience of at least 6 months before sitting up for the exam, but it is not mandatory.
