Why Values at Job? • During last 10 years we have been expereincing failure of “Money to make Money” approach. • This impacted Companies, Banks, People and entire States Economies. • Main cause is betting and putting savings, that is saved Real Value, on Fake Value. • We lost the focus on actual Value. Marketing 3.0 message: it is important to recover Real Human Values in Business.
The Trip Metaphor • I will try to share with you the Values I believe in for my Professional Life and for a Successful Company. • I am asking help to the Trip Metaphor. • Imagine we are driving the car with family or friends from our home city to a nice holiday resort.
Motivation The Holiday Resort: • I love that place. I want to go there even if the trip is long. • First of all I know the real target. • Second I desire to reach it and thus I am ready to work hard to get to it.
Authenticity and Trust The Road: • Ideal road to drive on must have smooth and clean surface. • Relation with people are actually smooth when Authenticity and Trust are in place. • You can focus on the target, you don’t have to spend too much attention to the road itself.
Creativity and Innovation The Engine: • I think you need it in a car if you want to move on! • All Marketing courses are stating that radical Innovation is essential fto create real business value. • This must be applied to Product, Service, Processes.
Empowerment and Competence The Fuel: • The right Fuel for the right Engine needs to be continuosly injected to start and continue the trip. • Only People that are and feel to be strong enough and have solid knowledge can contribute. • People need to be fed by proper training and right skills in a continuous process.
Diversity, Collaboration and Share People in the Car: • We are on the same Car, sharing the trip, the target and collaborate with different roles (driving, supporting the driver, taking care of children) • Doing what we are good at and accepting what others are good at is creating synergy. • Together we can sucessfully face problems you can’t cope with on your own.
Results and Satisfaction Holiday Resort Reached: • We finally reached the target of the trip, until next one. Travelling without reachin the target is endless roaming. • The real result is the Satisfaction of the Customer. • This must be a mindset, that is a neverending approach.
