  2. What is it? Petroleum is a naturally occurring, smelly, yellow-to-black liquid consisting of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons of various molecular weights and other liquid organic compounds, that are found in geologic formations beneath the Earth's surface. It is considered a fossil fuel

  3. What is it used for? Natural gas Gasoline Naphtha Kerosene Lubricating Paraffin Asphalt -Plastic products Makeup Rubber products

  5. OPEC • OPEC is short for “Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries” • OPEC's mission is to stabilize the oil markets to secure an efficient and regular supply of petroleum to the consumers.
