  2. About me: • 4th year at BRHS • 18+ years experience teaching • MA Spanish (Saint Louis University, Madrid, Spain) • Lived in Spain for 13 years (returned 2014) • Enjoy exercising, traveling, spending time with family and friends • Have a bilingual daughter, 8

  3. Class Supply List(Spanish 1 & 2) • 3 ring binder (1.5 in) • spiral bound notebook with holes (100 sheets) • 6 dividers • Pencils, blue or black pen • AGENDA (students are required to write down their homework in their agenda at the end of every class) • 1 new large box of tissues

  4. We will… • Work on the four basic language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) • Learn vocabulary in context • Learn how to conjugate verbs • Write sentences in Spanish. • Ask and answer questions in Spanish • Realidades for grammar

  5. Phoenix • Assessments – tests, quizzes, presentations, etc. • Reading • Writing • Speaking • Listening * Z=a zero until it is made up and graded

  6. CELL PHONES & CHROMEBOOKS Absolutely not allowed out during class unless used for an activity!

  7. Homework • Every night • Written or studying • Posted daily on my Google Classroom page • Written Homework • Checked for completion and reviewed in class.

  8. Extra Help • NHS tutors • Private tutors • Websites such as studyspanish.com, website for the textbook (link on my website)
