  2. “Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary probably” yet many teenagers feel like that’s the only way to solve their problems by ending their life. • Why or what is the big question . why do teenagers choose to end their life at such a young age or what are the contributing factors that make them do such a thing ?

  3. Drug abuse • 90% of suicide deaths are from substance abuse addictions. • Once teens become super addicted to a certain type of drug they start depending on that drug to make them feel happy or complete and when they are out of supply they begin to loose them selves and that is when they turn to suicide because without their drugs some teens just cant function once they gotten hooked.

  4. Cyber bullying & bullying • Cyber bullying and bulling is another reason for teen to commit suicide. The way they see it is “why would I want to continue my life and have to face my attackers” one suicide victim wrote in his farewell letter “I'm better dead than having to see all those people who bring me down” • Cyber bullying happens 24 hours a day.

  5. acceptance • All every teenager wants is to fit in and be in he “cool” group. • social circles are a big thing with teenagers • A lot of teens haven't reached their maturity levelso they don’t know how to be by themselves yet.they depend on everybody else to “fit in”.

  6. Life pressures are too much • A lot of teen complain that they just cant handle their personal problems or whatever they pressures they have stress, boyfriend/ girlfriend problems

  7. Self harm • Self harm is a big deal with teenagers they use that as a form to harm them selves and little by little it starts escalating to the point where one day the blade goes in to deep and they loose their life.

  8. Michelle Ralynn Cura ♥ • Suicide has caused me to loose someone who meant so much to me. Michelle was my best friend. And on May 13,2012 (mothers day) I got a call saying my best friend was no longer here nobody told me anything until we got to her house. It looked like a crime scene surrounded by cop cars, fire fighters & ambulances. Her mom was hysterical and when we saw each other she hugged me I never wanted to let go. Later I found out the cause of her death. It was a suicide by overdose on pills and she was found with a plastic bag over her head. This is not the way I would like to picture my best friend going away so I just try to remember her on her happy days.

  9. prevention • The best way to prevent suicide is just to talk to that person as much you can. As soon as you notice them acting weird make that person get help. Take it serious don’t assume a person is just playing around when they talk about suicide.

  10. statistics Suicide is more common in girls. It’s the leading cause of death between 10-17 yrs old. 53% of teens that commit suicide are homosexuals.
