  3. Vine Deloria’s 10 Basic Human Rights • Strengthen tribal governments • Better ties between reservations & non-reservation communities • Better mentoring to our youth—increased teaching of tribal knowledge

  4. 10 Basic Human Rights cont’d • Revival of treaty-making • Recognition of the political rights of non-recognized tribal nations • Establishment of a permanent court of Indian Affairs
