National Performance Framework & National Outcomes (16) Fire and Rescue Framework Strategic Police Priorities Scottish Fire & Rescue Service Board Scottish Police Authority Strategic Police Plan Police Scotland performance meeting Scrutiny Sub-Committee National Strategic Plan Single Outcome Agreement Scottish Government Ministers Scrutiny may take place at a full council committee, sub committee or within the CPP structure e.g. through a Community Safety strategic theme Generic Process Map (as at June 2013) National Strategic Assessment National Police Plan Council Corporate Plan Corporate plan SFRS Strategic Leadership Team Council Community Plan Community Planning Partnership (P1, F1) Performance may be reported formally to same group which does scrutiny or informally within CPP structure Local Fire & Rescue Plan Local Police Plan Strategic Theme Groups including Community Safety (CS) (P2, F2) Local plan will be presented to and approved by particular thematic group or council committee Working groups typically involving. Alcohol & Drugs Partnership, Home Safety Partnership, Youth Justice Partnership (P3, F3) Data Analysis & Consultation Multi-ward policing plans Data Analysis & Consultation Fire Station or Cluster Plans Local tasking meetings typically involving Community Safety Officers, wardens and anti-social behaviour teams (P3, F3) Local Community Planning multi member ward meetings (P3, F3) Data gathering/ consultation/analysis Primary Scrutiny Activities/ Tasking Performance Reporting Plans

Generic Process Map - Key Police: P1 Superintendent /Commander, P2 Chief Inspector, P3 Inspector, P4 Sergeant National Police Plan – annual Local Police Plan – 3 yearly / annual review Fire and Rescue Service: F1 Local Senior Officer, F2 Group Manager, F3 Station Manager, F4 Local Authority Liaison Officer Scrutiny sub committee - quarterly National Strategic Plan – 3 yearly Corporate plan – annual Local Fire and Rescue Plan - 3 yearly / annual review Fire Station or Cluster Plans – 3 yearly
