  1. Instruction to Authors for presentation in CIEC14: • A. Oral Presentation • The presentation time for ‘Oral Presentation’ is 10 mins, followed by max. 02 mins Q & A. The total number of slides (including hyperlinks, if any) is restricted to 12, excluding the title slide. • The authors are suggested not to use any animation/ video in their presentation. • The PDF file of the presentation file (*.ppt etc) must be emailed to ciec14submission@yahoo.com latest by January 24, 2014, after which no editing/ spot modification will be allowed. All presentations will be preloaded in the laptops to the respective sessions. No personal laptop presentation is allowed. • Joint presentation (maximum two authors) of a paper is allowed, provided the presenters have separately registered in CIEC14. • Please use the title slide template (slide 3) for preparing your slides as per the guidelines (slide 4)

  2. B. Poster Presentation • Poster session is a valuable media for authors to present papers and meet with interested attendees for in-depth technical discussions. Therefore, it is important that results are to be displayed clearly to attract people. • The board area (for a single presentation) for attachment of the poster is 3 ft width × 3 ft height. The authors can prepare their poster in 3 ft width × 4 ft height ( 1 ft will be hanging without attachment) • Prepare the presentation in a single Flex / good quality poster paper. • Poster session Author must follow the title slide layout (not the exact template) as given in slide 3. • The poster must be prepared to: • (a) Provide a brief overview of the work; • (b) Highlight the key results; • (c) initiate discussion and question; • 5. Joint presentation (maximum two authors) is allowed, provided the presenters have separately registered in CIEC14.

  4. Illustration slide (Oral presentation) (guideline) • Use font size 20 and above (Arial), left aligned • Diagrams/pictures should be of good resolution for good visibility to audience • Please do not use citation or referencing of own/ other works in the slide International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC14)
