PNN Groupu2019s petrochemical division owns, develops and operates refineries in the CIS region. Azerbaijan Methanol Company (AzMeCo), the flagship of the Groupu2019s petrochemical division, heads construction and development of oil terminals in Georgia and Ukraine. And its trading companies operate in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. AzMeCou2019s most ambitious project is the methanol production plant in Azerbaijan.

  2. PNN Group is a family business founded in 1993 by Nizami Piriyev and his son Nasib Piriyev. Within two decades it has grown into an international corporation. PNN’s mission and vision are based on values that are imperative principles of the modern business. A famous Azerbaijani businessman and media producer Nasib Piriyev graduated from the American International University in London with a degree in Business Management and Media Production (2001). After internships at both the BBC and Discovery Channel, Nasib returned to CIS and embarked on his career as a journalist for CaspioNet, a newly launched cable TV channel that aimed to promote Kazakhstan globally. Within a year, Nasib became its Chief Director and was extensively involved in producing documentaries and TV programs for the state-owned Khabar Media Holding that comprises a publishing house, radio stations and seven large-scale TV channels, including CaspioNet, which has become the most successful media project in Kazakhstan.

  4. Oil & GasDivision PNN Group arranges oil supplies to its subsidiary in Afghanistan, as well as oil supplies from Turkmenistan to Ukraine and Black Searegion. The Group operates refineriesin Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which were previously built using PNN Group’s engineering branches – Caspian Engineering Company and SafTorpaq.

  5. Food & RetailDivision In 2013 PNN Group acquired franchising rights for a famous British chain stores retailer WHSmith to expand its global presence in Russia and the CIS region. And the Group immediately started to fulfill its promises with the opening of the first WHSmith store at the Paveletsky Railway Station in Moscow and after that stepped into Sochi, where it launched one more store at the Adler Railway Station. Then, in 2014, PNN Group opened WHSmith at the MEGA Khimki retail shopping mall, which is one of the largest retail complexes in Russia.
