  2. Lungs • They are two organs • Make us breath • Helps us breath.

  3. The Trachea • Made up of cartilage and ligaments • It is your wind pipe • Filters the air taken in

  4. The Alveolus • Tiny air sack • Located inside the lungs

  5. The Larynx • It is your voice box • Helps you speak

  6. The Bronchus • A tube • Goes into both lungs • Carries oxygen to your lungs

  7. The Bronchioles • Located at the end of your alveolus • Part of the airway passages in your lungs

  8. The Diaphragm • Strong wall mussel • Splits the chest cavity from the abdominal

  9. Respiratory System • Because it helps us breath • We cant live without it • Takes oxygen into the lungs and breaths out carbon dioxide • To get oxygen to your cells so your cells through out your body can live
