Transportations • Highways • Major airports (people and products) • New York City • Boston • Philadelphia • Atlantic ocean • Near harbors • Coast • Products transported by boat • If any of these ways of transportations were lost, there could be a major shortage of transportation and a lot of economic damage.

Economic Impact • If New York City alone disappeared 18,897,109 people would vanish • Add Philadelphia and Boston and the total comes to 29,414,854 people • Imagine the economical impact if this many people, about 1/10 of America’s population, would be gone • New England has a surprising amount of economical impact
