Some project examples– 2011/2012 (1) • Container Control along the Heroin Route • Fight against trafficking in human beings • Countering Violent Extremism in the Horn of Africa • Strengthening airport communication and building drug-interdiction capacities (AIRCOP) • Developing a regional system to collect and share police information in West Africa Seizure from COCAIR operation: 24 kg of Cocaine

Some project examples– 2011/2012 (2) • Capacity building in the fight against the illicit accumulation and trafficking of firearms in Africa • Strengthening LE capacities against the production and trafficking of falsified medicines • Building capacities against cybercrime and to respond to cyber attacks • Protecting critical maritime routes in theWider Indian Ocean Seizure from COCAIR operation: falsified medicines
