  2. What?….tool to use • National EFNEP K-2 • Sept 2012 version • Color, 10 questions • Will be printed at the State Office

  3. Who?…administers • Educator peferred. • Teacher, only if necessary. • This year, K-2 • Happy Healthy Me • English speaking

  4. How?….use the tool • Pre and Post intervention • Group-administered to class • Educator reads text on tool to students • Script • Children write name on the tool • Youth educator matches pre/post tools

  5. How?....score the tool? • Each picture on the tool is considered a separate question (Q1-8) • Each question has a different maximum point value • Each picture needs to be scored by the Youth Educator and totaled for each question • Examples 4 points 5 points

  12. Q9 & Q10 Scored differently • Never =1 • Almost Never =2 • Sometimes =3 • Almost Always =4 • Always =5 +3

  13. How?....store pre+post tests • Student names on tool. • Store locked cabinet in office. • Suggest 1 file folder per class with About My Class • Match pre with post • Enter pre and post for each child at same time in WebNEERS.

  14. How?....enter data into WebNEERS • Topic for next Webinar conference call March 2013 • Youth Educator will generate a unique ID for each child to use in WebNeers • Enter the score you calculated for each question
