Current State Worship • Services are held in a sanctuary designed for seating 178 or appx. 140 (80% capacity) comfortably • Currently exceed comfortable seating capacity during 2nd service as evidenced by: • Attendance • Ushering complications • Need to set up chairs • 80% capacity is a figure known to reduce or stop the rate of growth for worship attendance, as evidenced at Trinity
Current State Sunday School • No room for additional Sunday School classes • In some cases, classrooms do not provide enough space for a comfortable learning environment • Current classes are overflowing to general areas where they are hindered by noise and traffic
Current State Storage • Storage space problems, does anything more need to be said? • Examples: • Evangelism cannot get to what they need in closet because of AV equipment in the way • Complaint of possible fire hazard due to boxes stored in upstairs hall • Need to remove storage shed for building.
Proposal • Add a 3rd service on Sunday Morning • Run Sunday School during 2nd and 3rd Services • Revised schedule: • 8:00 Early Service • 9:30 Middle Service & Sunday School • 11:00 Late Service & Sunday School

Implementation Plan Phase One (February): • Move 7th-8th Gradeand Ladiesclasses to Fellowship Hall • Plan and recruit for Sunday School teachers during 2nd and 3rd Services • Confirm correct age groupings for Sunday School classes • Coordinate Adult Instruction classes • Boards plan details for 3 services (music, altar guild, ushers, greeters…) • Set 3-service implementation date Phase Two (March – April): • Go to three services • Move 4th-6th Grade and 1st-3rd Grade to new classrooms Phase Three (April-May): • Create Altar Guild Room • Create Music/Bell Choir Room • Phase Four (June): • Develop Youth Lounge • Modify Loft to Cry Room • Move Pre-K – K • Move Nursery • Phase Five (July): • Create DCE/BOYM Office • Move Youth Closets • Throughout implementation: • 5S classrooms (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain) • Assign storage spaces • Post directories at entrances: “You are here” • Progress reporting in newsletters, bulletins and project board
