Classroom instructional time can not be disrupted to take forgotten items to a student. Parents are not allowed to take forgotten items to the classrooms. Forgotten items such as: Lunches PE Clothes Homework, etc. may be dropped off at the Main Office where they will be held for the student to pick them up during Nutrition or Lunch. Students will NOT be summoned out of their classrooms to pickup these items. When a student discovers that an item has been forgotten at home, he or she should go to the Main Office to see if the item has been dropped off, or they may use the phone in the Main Office to call home and arrange for the item to be dropped off. Bus Behavior • Bus behavior is the responsibility of all students who ride buses to and from Paul Revere Charter Middle School. • Students who ride the District buses and their parents will sign a contract that explains the transportation rules and discipline. • Any misbehavior or violation of bus rules will result in suspension from the bus or school.

School Dress CodeStudents’ clothing should be casual and comfortable for the purposes of health andwarmth. It is always appropriate for students to present themselves well by dressingin an attractive and appropriate manner. Clothing that distracts from the instructionalprocess and/or is unsafe, is prohibited. 8. No spaghetti strap or strapless tops. 9. Hoods may be worn outside to protect from inclement weather only. 10. No sunglasses unless prescribed by a physician. 11. No undergarments should be visible at any time. 12. No pajamas or blankets may be worn. Students who are inappropriately dressed, with problems that are unable to be resolved by the classroom teacher, may be sent to the Dean’s Office to be issued “loaner” clothing. Parents of students whose attire is unable to be brought into compliance by the Dean’s Office staff will be asked to bring any necessary clothing to their child. Prohibited clothing or styles include: 1. No “sag” or oversized pants (pants that will not stay up without a belt), or extra long belts that hang down. 2. Shorts and skirts must be appropriately sized (Use “Fingertips Rule” as guideline). 3. Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times for safety. slippers are not permitted. 4. Unsafe piercings of any kind are prohibited. 5. No items that show affiliation to either gangs or crews may be worn at anytime. 6. Only Paul Revere, solid white, solid green or solid black hats may be worn on campus. Beanie caps may be worn at temperatures of 55 degrees or lower only, but must also be solid green, white or black. No hats or beanie caps may be worn inside of school buildings. 7. No items may be worn that communicate profane or obscene messages, or promote the use of alcohol, drugs or tobacco.
The first day of school Drop off your child in the circular driveway in front of the main office OR Drop off along the west driveway. Enter from Allenford Avenue and exit out the Mandeville Canyon exit. DO NOT PARK, GET OUT OF YOUR CAR, BLOCK BUSES OR OTHER VEHICLES FROM PROCEEDING UP THE DRIVEWAY. THIS IS A ONE WAY DRIVEWAY. NO PARKING AT ALL BETWEEN 7:30-8:15 AM Find a parking space on one of the side streets and cometo the patio area in the circular driveway for a new parent coffee.
Driving on the campus Front Horseshoe Entrance- West gate only • One Way Only • Gate closes at 7:55am • Gate opens 15 minutes after the end of school. • Driving speed on campus is 8 MPH

What to do when you are absent Absent or Tardy or or Leaving early from school? Report to the Attendance Office • Absences may be excused by: • A note from a doctor is REQUIRED if absent more than 5 days • (not a parent written note) • If Leaving Early from School • Parent pick up in the Attendance Office • Students will ONLY be released to adults listed on emergency card or in the student database. • It is preferred that students/parents go to the Attendance Office BEFORE school if you know that you will be leaving early
