  2. Clearinghouse Mission Since 1998 our mission has been to identify, collect, organize, and effectively disseminate the best information available to make work zones safer for highway workers and the traveling public.

National Traffic Management and Work Zone Safety Conference • 30+ Sessions • Live Incident Demonstrations • Off-Site Tours • Wide range of topics in partnership with: American Road & Transportation Builders Association-Transportation Development Foundation Texas Transportation Institute, the Federal Highway Administration American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.

  6. The “Work Zone Wizard” blog led by Jerry Ullman of the Texas Transportation Institute; The “SafetyZone” e-newsletter - featuring timely information, articles and resources. New Features

  7. The Clearinghouse “Listserv” - serving over 500 registered users.  Subscribers may view questions live, via a daily digest or through the archives online; FHWA “Work Zone Safety Grants” section. New Features:

  8. A new “video vault”- containing public service announcements, conference proceedings, training videos and more; Webinar conferences. New Features:

In addition to the new features, upgraded and enhanced services include: • A simplified registration form, allowing users to subscribe to the blog, listserv and e-newsletter; • An enhanced product registration form allowing distributors and manufacturers of work zone-related safety products to list and update information about their products contained in the work zone safety products database;

In addition to the new features, upgraded and enhanced services include: Updated and verified nearly 700 entries in the Clearinghouse’s vast databases, now containing over 7,000 records; Continuation of our free-research service; Additional staff to meet the needs of the growing Clearinghouse services and users.
