Employee Receipt Forms • All Employees acknowledge and sign form • Please return in alpha order to HRS by September 4 • File Name: Handbook Receipt Form
Stipends: Changes • Jane will email you stipend documents after today’s meeting. These are due back no later than August 7. • Any exceptions to this date have already received notice from Jane. • Please check documents for stipend amount increases which are highlighted in green to indicate the change.

PDAS for 2007-08 • PDAS Manual on Intranet • PDAS Training for New Teachers and Teachers Who Have Not Had PDAS Training (out of state, etc) will be provided through Staff Development Office • Rhonda Godbey assigns 2nd appraisers
Criminal History Checks • Just Follow Instructions • Lezley Lewis coordinates all criminal records checks for applicants, substitutes and volunteers
Substitutes for Classrooms • Blocking of Subs • Sub Evaluations • Work with our office on any release of subs • Sub rates have increased an average of 20% across the board • Contact David Orr, Ila Whitaker or Gail Prince with questions
Cooperating Teachers • Cooperating Teachers receive a personal day for having a student teacher • Log in absence as no sub needed/school business • Pat Barges is the contact person for student teachers
No Child Left Behind Update • 99.4% HQ compliance • Please continue to work with staffing administrators on hiring HQ staff and moving staff to comply with HQ requirements. • Please send Non-Certification letters to parents whose students are in a class with a teacher without proper credentials. • File Names: • Non Certification Letter (English) • Non Certification Letter (Spanish)
