6. KROMĚŘÍŽ ABOUT KROMĚŘÍŽ Archbishop`s Palace - Formely a Gothiccastle, rebuilt in a Renaissancecastleand in the 17th century to theBaroquepalace. Fromthe 14th centurytill 1949 itwas a seatofBishopsandArchbishopsof Olomouc. There are extraordinaryinteriors in thecastle.Anotherjewelof Kroměříž are thelargestylishgardens - Podzámecká and Květná. In 1998 these sightsof Kroměříž were put down on the list oftheWorldCulturalHeritage. Itis a well-preserved sample ofEuropeanBaroque noble residencesandparks. PICS

A chateautheatrewithanassemblyofstagedecorations. In thechateaubrewerywasbornthe musical composer Bedřich Smetana andnowhereis a museum ofCzech music.
