Odyssey: Standalone & ILLiad • Odyssey can be used as a Standalone program or as part of ILLiad • Standalone Odyssey is available free of charge • ILLiad is available for a fee
Odyssey Standalone: How Does it Work? • Odyssey standalone is available at http://www.atlas-sys.com/products/odyssey • It will allow you to send and receive documents, but not to make requests • You will need a computer with a fixed IP address, and administrator rights for your PC
Installing Odyssey Standalone • You will need to install the Odyssey client and setup the Odyssey database. The installation manager will do both of these tasks for you • Do not change any installation settings, including paths or passwords • Enable Odyssey by going to the Maintenance menu and clicking next to “Server Enabled” until a checkmark appears
Odyssey Standalone: Processing • To send documents simply • Fill in the Borrower and ILL number boxes • Scan • Send • Received documents can be • Printed • Converted from a TIF to a PDF • Saved as a TIF • Deleted
