  3. Aims: • Oceanography Research using mainly sailing boats. The company has the capability of acquiring and analysing marine data independently, as well as through collaboration with research centres. • Divulgation work, such as courses, campaigns, etc • Production of cinematic and television documentaries

The Team is composed by: • Science and Technology group (coordinator: Paolo Cipollini) • Divulgation group (Paolo Chighizola) • Educational work group (Giada Franci) • Audiovisual troupe (Sara Petri) • Underwater filming and work group (Iacopo Celano) • Sailors group (Giovanni Soldini) Moreover, the team has the support of famous scientists from all around the world (Honorary Members of EOT)

  5. The Boats: • Elmo’s Fire, 23 m (Giovanni Soldini & Vittorio Malingri) • C’est la Vie, 15 m (Michael Seton Kennedy Trimming) • Kaitek, 12 m (Iacopo Celano) • Daedalus, 23 m (Guido Gay)

  6. Daedalus & Pluto: A low-cost oceangoing mother ship and a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) for scientific Seabed investigation

Environmental Ocean Team intends to obtain the funds necessary to sustain and run its activities from these main sources: European and international funds available for scientific research, outreach and education (EU, UNESCO, ESA, etc) The production of cinematic and television documentaries EOT has the resources to provide both on board and sub-aquatic photo and video coverage.   8. Projects: Group INForMando of INFM-CNR. (Bergamo Science festival, October 2007 and Genova Science festival, 2008) Monitoring the “Cinque Terre” and “Montemarcello” National Parks We are actively involved in the ISOLE MINORI project, carried out by the COMUNE di PORTOVENERE. We cooperate with LMF & PARTNERS SIM who are preparing a new portfolio of “environmentally accountable” investments. EOT act as consultant and will invest monies in environmental monitoring activities We are actively involved in planning a series of documentaries, called OCEANICA, with the Italian production company MAGNOLIA TV
