Key Learning: i. The importance of Citizenship Education (CE) - British society undergoing rapid change - Need to define British values/ ‘Britishness’ - Youths politically apathetic; suffer from lack of values ii. National Curriculum (England) vs Curriculum for Excellence (Scotland) iii. Purpose of the revised CE curriculum “...to enable young people to explore deep issues in CE”
