Where? As you know the children are travelling to a large town called Niort on the West Coast of France.
Luggage We are travelling with our ‘friends’ at Ryanair. They are particular about their luggage requirements and so we must work within the restrictions-55cmX40cmX20cm
What to bring? School Jumper(essential) Rain coat Comfortable footwear Swimwear and a hat Small wallet Adaptors-(To facilitate the different sockets) If your child is on any medication-Bring a sufficient supply
Hats and Bags The parents association and the Board of Management have generously purchased hats and Backpacks with the Ennis CBS logo for the Children. They will receive these on Monday April 8th when they arrive at school.
Liquids As you know there is a restriction on liquids in relation to carry-on baggage. No liquids above the 100ml level are allowed on flights and these liquids must be placed in a clear plastic bag Max 1Litre
Luckily.. We are very grateful to PA chairperson Jan Hillery for donating suitable toothbrushes, toothpaste and Shampoo and these will be placed in clear re-sealable bags and given to the Children when they arrive into school on Monday April 8th
Electronics Mobile Phones are allowed on the trip. Entertainment devices such as PSP’s or other handheld gaming consoles are not acceptable. Devices used for translation purposes e.g. Ipod touch are acceptable. DS-not acceptable.`All devices are brought along at the children’s own risk
Transportation Monday April 8th-A bus has been booked to take the children from school to the airport. The children will fly out at 4:30pm on Monday. Friday 12th- Return Trip. Bus booked. Children will arrive back at the CBS for 3pm Approx.

Food Children are visitors in peoples homes. Food may be new to them. Important that they appreciate the effort and the hospitality of the host/hostess. Please reinforce the importance of graciousness and good manners
Spending Money There is a restriction of €50 on spending money. The children will have €25 in their own wallet They will also bring an envelope with the other €25 which will be held by their group leader. Wallet needs to be in the case upon arrival at school
Monday Morning 8th April Come to school as normal for 9am start Wear school Jumper Passport and European Health Card Luggage(within restrictions) Spending money €25 in their wallet (€25 in an envelope with their name on it)
