  6. Development of Pre School curriculum • Formulation of curriculum on Pre-school education in consultation with field functionaries (DPO/CDPO), Principals of Reputed Public Schools.

  7. Development of Pre School curriculum cont…… • Workbooks have been distributed to all AWCs by devising activities for different age groups i.e. 3 to 4 years, 4 years and above.

  8. Development of Pre School curriculum cont…… • Time Table has been introduced for conduct of pre-school education activities at AWC.

  9. Development of Pre School curriculum cont…… • Compilation of songs, stories, poems, games done and printed material supplied to all AWCs. • Meena flip books supplied to AWCs. • Preschool attendance certificate is given to each child for leaving the AWC.

  10. Development of Pre School curriculum cont…… • Wooden writing chowkis have been provided to all AWs • Two days Workshop to Anganwadi Worker on PSE by the DIET/SSA. • 480 swings have been provided to AWCs.

  11. Bala features in Anganwadicentres • Bala features painted on the inner and outer walls of the AnganwadiCentres (Govt accommodation) under SSA

Construction of AnganwadiCentres from state funds AW Buildings • 1248 Anganwadi buildings constructed from State Govt. funds • Funds for construction of 513 AnganwadiCentres has been released • State Govt Funds were distributed for construction of toilets and kitchens in 738 AWCs. • 4016 AWCs have been provided with separate kitchen and toilet facilities • 1926 AWCS running in primary school premises • 80 AWC Bhawan constructed in primary school premises  

  13. Grading of AnganwadiCentres Organizing BalaMela Incentive to AWWs under NRHM for immunization session, DOT. Toilet etc. System of grading of all AnganwadiCentres has been introduced in the State. Organizing BalaMela uniformly throughout the State on a single day. Publicity in the form of Features, Jingles and Spots through AIR, DDK, and other FM Channels . Inspection of all lagging Blocks has been carried out by the Officers Inspection of Lagging Blocks Publicity of schemesD Incentive under NRHM

  14. IEC booklets have been given to all AWWs regarding health & nutrition issues and issues of preschool children pertaining to ICDS target groups. One Anganwadi Training Centre operational in College of Home Science, Palampur, H.P. Advance to AWTCs for smooth functioning of job/refresher courses to AWWS. Child Health Screening and Early Intervention Services Programme has been started by the National Rural Health Mission which aims at early detection and management of Defects at births, Diseases in children, Deficiency conditions and Development Delays including Disabilities .
