Progressive Reforms 1890’s to 1980’s • In the 1890’s, the National Educational Association (NEA) produced a number of reports • Report of the Committee of Ten (Chaired by Harvard President, Charles Eliot). • The Cardinal Principles of Secondary Education in 1918 • In the 1930’s released other reports by the Commission of Secondary Education.
