Declarative sentence • A declarative sentence is a sentence thatmakes a statement. It is a sentence you use whenyouwant to tell something. • Ex: Joe has a girlylaugh.
Most of the time a declaritive sentence isshortened to one or twowords, especiallywhenanswering a question. • Ex: Where ismystraightener? My room.
Imperative sentence • An imperative sentence is a sentence thatasks or tells someone to do dosomething. • Ex: Go throwthatawayplease.
