Slots/Spirit pack • Primary slots: 24 (12 male, 12 female) • The Company is still in need of female chaperones. If a parent or guardian is interested in being a chaperone, please contact 1SG Siler. • Spirit packs are mandatory for each cadet attending JCLC. The cost of each shirt is $9, and the cost for shorts will be $14. Orders are due by the 15th of May. Once all orders are in, the order will be submitted. The estimated arrival of the spirit pack will be the 1st week of June.

Typical Day • Typical JCLC day • 0530 Wake up (personal hygiene/barracks maintenance) • 0600 formation (Move to breakfast) • 0630-0730 (Breakfast/Flag detail) • 0830-1600 (Training) • 1700-1800 (Dinner/flag detail) • 1800-2100 (Intramural sports) • 2200 Lights out -Cadets will stay in the barracks (bunk beds) and eat in the dining facility at Wendall H. Ford Training Center.
Typical Day • JCLC Training week: • 07 June: Depart around 10:00 AM: We will stop for lunch at Mr. Gatti’s in Elizabethtown (Lunch will be provided). Estimated arrival to JCLC (2-3 p.m.) • 07 June: Inprocess/Cadet Challenge • 08 June: AM (Water Survival), PM (FLRC)/Evening: /Intramurals • 09 June: AM (Confidence Course), PM (Rafting) (Pizza party) • 10 June: AM (One rope bridge, rappelling), PM (Field Skills Training/orienteering)/Evening: Graduation • 11 June: Outprocess/Clear Barracks (Depart) • 11 June: Estimated arrival to NBHS (12-1 PM)

Packing List • Student must provide • Bathing suit (One piece for female cadets) • Blanket • Laundry Detergent • Water shoes • Small amount of cash for incidental items ($30); There is a small store on camp that is open daily for snacks/gatorade. • Hygiene Items: razor, shaving cream, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, shower shoes, Female: Feminine Hygiene items, hair ties • JROTC program will provide • Uniforms (Army Combat Uniform), socks, hat, tan t-shirts • Boots • Duffle bag • Pistol belt and canteen • Poncho
Timeline • May 9 2:30-3:30. First JCLC Briefing. • May 15Spirit pack money due: $23($9 shirt, $14 for shorts) • May 29 2:30-3:30 (Packing list inspection) All remaining items must be packed in bags, minus hygiene items. • June 6Final JCLC briefing: 6-8 PM (Issue spirit pack/final checks and inspection. • June 7Depart for JCLC/Wendall Ford Training Center: Estimated time of departure will be noon. Students will be able to take their final exams prior to departing for JCLC. • June 7-11 JCLC • June 11thh: Estimated return to NBHS: 2-3 PM.
