Homemade Ice Cream. Coffee Can Method. Materials:. ½ cup of whole milk 1 tablespoon of sugar ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract or chocolate syrup Ice! Ice! Ice! Rock salt 1 small coffee can and one large coffee can. Step One. Mix milk, sugar, vanilla and place in small coffee can.

  1. Homemade Ice Cream Coffee Can Method

  2. Materials: • ½ cup of whole milk • 1 tablespoon of sugar • ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract or chocolate syrup • Ice! Ice! Ice! • Rock salt • 1 small coffee can and one large coffee can

  3. Step One • Mix milk, sugar, vanilla and place in small coffee can • Place smaller can inside of larger coffee can

  4. Step Two • Place two (2) quarts of ice in larger can with rock salt • Seal the coffee can tightly

  5. Step Three • Shake the large coffee can vigorously for at least ten (10) minutes

  6. Enjoy!
