What is contextual data and how can it be used in widening participation and fair admissions decision making? SPA has gained the agreement of all administrations in the UK to provide a basket of data, via UCAS, for HE providers to use and has developed a number of good practice principles in the use of such data. This workshop will enable institutions to find out more about what will be available from UCAS for 2012 entry, discuss how and when they can use the data to enhance the applicant experience they provide in the changing environment for admissions, student fees and access to HE and share views with colleagues from other institutions
