Main Speakers – VCC Church Conference, June 19th – 22nd 2008 Day 4 (Sunday June 22nd, 2008 Programme) 7:00 – 9:30am English Service Moderator – :Mr. Humphrey Kabwe Pastor Huruma Nkoneis the pastor of Victory Christian Centre, a growing congregation in Dar es Salaam. He has been married to Joyce for 12 years and they have three lovely children. He is totally passionate about God. He preaches extensively in and outside the country and has been in the full time ministry for 13 years. Pastor Nkone is the organizer of the Campus Night, which is probably the largest Christian student’s event in the Tanzania. Huruma comes from a Christian pastoral family, Qualified Architect and holds a BA in Bible and Theology from Global University. He believes that the church of God will adjust herself through God’s word, and become more effective and relevant to the society and pleasing to the Living God. They have been in the ministry since 1981. The couple is blessed with five grown up children. With the blessings and anointing power of God, the work at Kiomboi has grown beyond proportions and • the couple continue to plant churches and support their pastors. Bishop has traveled extensively within Tanzania and abroad on various evangelistic crusades. Teenage Service Moderator – :Pastor Esther ; 1:00 – 2:30pm • Pastor Phil Norris is married to Helen for 19 years; three wonderful children; • one pet dog called Ellie. He has been a pastor since 1989 and is currently the team leader of the Basingstoke Community Churches in UK. Phil also works into a number of other church settings, pastoring pastors and working apostolically. • He is a member of the European Apostolic Team overseeing Salt and Light Ministries, which is an international family of churches. He works into Africa and India as well as having a strong interest in church planting and new styles of church to reach this generation. This is our first church conference; we are very excited about it and are looking forward to a great move of the power of the Holy Spirit. The theme of our Conference is “The 2nd Coming of the Church” and we strongly believe God is going to revive our spirits and our lives will never be the same again. God has blessed us with speakers from different parts of the world and we are thankful to Him. We believe that as we approach the middle of the year 2008, by the teachings and preaching's at this conference, through these men of God, that you will seek God more, and desire to serve Him and our dear nation in more relevant ways. As you will note, our conference has several seminars that will run throughout the period. We invite you to be part of the seminar that is appropriate to you. Your experience of the conference will be greatly enhanced. For those who are from outside Dar es Salaam, we welcome you to this great city.
