Saving CAD files • Seed Drawing – blank drawing that saves all the default values you want set – used to start new drawing or refresh values • PART file - CADKEY drawing files are called PART files (Save [to store] and Open [to retrieve]) .PRT extension • PATTERN file – a file that can be added to a current drawing without disturbing what is currently in the work area (Export [to store] and Import [to retrieve]) .PTN extension

Assignment #23: • Create the 2-D Pick-up truck shown on page 71 of the CADKEY book. • Put your title block around it. • Provide a printout of your drawing and include all necessary information in the title block.
