2. GENERAL PLANNING OBJECTIVES OF THE GENERAL COMMISION • Know, deepen, expand and project the figure of Fr. Palau and the Teresian Missionary Carmel • Orient and accompany with a follow up and coordination. • Give initial guidelines and basic criteria.

CRITERIA • Knowledge, depth and simplicity. • Family spirit and openness. • Spirit of solidarity in the relationships and actions. • Coherence with the proposed objectives. • All that is organized should take into account the objectives of the centennial celebrations. • Communication, information and coordination of everything that is been carried out and exchange of initiatives and materials. • Integration of lay people in the subcommissions.

9. KNOWLEDGE AND DEEPENING IN THE WRITINGS OF FRANCISCO PALAU AND HISTORY OF THE CMT • Introduction to each one of the Palautian writings. • Guided reading of the main writings of Fr. Palau • Presentation by zones of the History, Vol. III. • Key millstones and testimonies of significant sisters in the historical development of the Congregation, since the beginning • Prayerful reading of the key biblical texts in the experience and spiritual process of Fr. Palau. • Re-elaboration Systematic course of Palautian formation

CULTURAL • Impulse cultural initiatives in various fields and areas to tackle different topics: historical context, social-health situation , educative field, reorganization of the Teresian Carmel, etc. • In the ambit of our schools, integrate in the curriculum, evaluable, across-the-board, activities and projects about Father Palau and the Congregation. • Promote activities in the ambit of our educational centres, parishes, groups… (contests, poetry, plays, musicals, activities that foster cooperation and solidarity, creation of a newsletter, exhibits, paintings, drawings, Palautian cultural week…) • Monographic study of the history of the foundation of the house, adapted to the school ages.
