COLLECTIVE SECURITY=team player • WORKING WITH OTHER COUNTRIES TO INFLUENCE WORLD AFFAIRS • EX: NATO troops from different countries helped to keep peace in Eastern Europe
INTERNATIONALISM=world policeman • GETTING INVOLVED IN OTHER COUNTRIES BUSINESS TO PROMOTE IMPORTANT NATIONAL INTERESTS AND /OR TO SAFEGUARD NATIONAL SECURITY. • Why do you think the United States is continuously involved in Mideast affairs? What national interest are we concerned about?
IMPERIALISM= World bully • EXTENDING POWER BY ACQUIRING TERRITORY AROUND THE GLOBE OR EXPLOITING WEAKER NATIONS TO SERVE NATIONAL INTERESTS
